Our history runs deep.

1948 we started as a retail greenhouse and garden center in Baltimore, Ohio on a side lot of Charlie DeLong's property.

In the early fifties, we added a flower shop. The Sixties flew by! Not only did we become a community staple, but we became a proven, cutting edge florist. Using the latest in technology, our shop was one of the first in the state to use a wire service for our customers. The seventies were bitter sweet. Charlie's wife, the inspiration for the business, passed away. Charlie passed the baton to one of his most loyal, trusted employees. Gary Gierhart.

Gary continued the commitment of a flower shop and greenhouse throughout the seventies and eighties. What a great time that was. 

Again, tragedy struck again. In the early nineties, Gary fell ill and passed quickly. 

Gary's family approached the Hoffmans- neighbors, friends and employees of Gary's. 

1995 John and Debbie Hoffman purchased the shop and owned & operated it for twenty-seven years. Lisa, their daughter-in-law, started working with them, quickly becoming a top designer in the region. Her designs were and still are, highly praised and sought after. 

But, alas, tragedy once again struck and John  passed away from breast cancer in 2022. Before he passed, John & Debbie agreed to pass the baton to their son, Jeff and his wife, Lisa. In 2023, They decided to cease the greenhouse operations and focus on the flower shop. Realizing that our sympathy arrangements, specifically casket sprays and tribute sprays were highly sought after, they  decided to focus their services for funeral homes only.

So, in our 76th year in business, our model has changed, but our commitment to our clients has not.
